Stoneware Spoon Rests

Join us for a creative Clay Encounter where you'll hand craft a unique spoon rest. During the Encounter, you'll learn the basics of working with clay, including hand building and shaping methods. Each spoon rest is personalized with your choice of textures, patterns and colors that reflect your personal style. Spoon rests are dishwasher safe upon completion of the firing process. 

*All spoon rests will be glazed in the same visit keeping this class to a single session encounter. 

Products Included:

-Pottery and glazing lesson from our studio expert. 

-Clay to handcraft (1) Large Spoon Rest. 

Things to note:

-No prior experience is required. 

-We request that participants be 13 years of age or older to attend. Participants aging from 13-16 must be accompanied by a participating adult. 

-Just as each artist is unique, your finished pottery will be as well. 

-You may bring food and beverages. A separate table will be available for food as oils and greases can effect the outcome of the glazing process. 

-Dress to get messy!  Aprons are available.  

-Pottery will need to be picked up at a later date. The process of stoneware clay firing takes a minimum of 2 weeks. We will contact you as soon as your project(s) are ready for pick up via the phone number provided at registration.

-We acknowledge that unforeseen circumstances may arise, however, cancellations are eligible only for in-store credit. Please contact us a minimum of 24 hours prior to class to reschedule a make-up session (if available) or to request your in-store credit. Any cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the class or no-shows are not subject to credit or make-up sessions. Thank you for understanding and cooperation.
